DMX started rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998, He released his first album called It's Dark and HELL IS HOT. There were many albums released over time, such as... and then There Was X... Again the Redemption of the Beast grand champ... The Great Depression Year of the Dog... The album, titled...And then was X, was nominated by The Grammy for Best Rap Album in 2001. The singer has appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five and Exit Wounds. The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
